Krystal Kennedy is a Safety Engineer in the Safety Division, Code 360. As the Motor Vehicle Safety Point of Contact, she collaborates with Protective Services and FMD to remediate issues pertaining to navigating around the center (pedestrian safety, bicycle safety, crosswalk repainting, etc.). Krystal is also the GSFC Point of Contact for the Safety Culture Program which seeks to create an environment characterized by safety attitudes and behaviors, modeled by leaders and embraced by all.
Additionally, Krystal provides support to the Contractor Safety Program by performing safety reviews of procurement requests involving services, materials, and equipment purchases.
This year Krystal will be conducting three different SAC sessions: “Situational Awareness for Motorist & Pedestrians”, “Pet Safety” and “Safety Culture”.
