Ground Safety Plan/Ground Safety Data Package Training

Have you ever gone to sleep at night and wondered, “hmmm, can I power switch on the pad when hazardous systems are A-State with personnel in the danger area?”  Have you ever thought while walking your dog, “what is the maximum pressure I can pressurize an attitude control system to without having to perform remotely?”  While driving home after a long day, have you ever considered the philosophical question of, “when is final arming?” The answers to these questions and more will be provided at this year’s Safety Awareness Campaign during the Ground Safety Plan/Ground Safety Data Package Training.  During this training, we will explore the purpose of these highly important operational safety documents and how they are applied to ensure the safety of our personnel while enabling mission success in compliance with the GSFC/WFF Range Safety Manual.
