Tammie Yancey

Tammie Yancey is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. She has more than 21 years of clinical experience and 2 years’ experience here at Goddard counseling individuals, couples, groups, children and families in a variety of settings.

Ms. Yancey has provided cognitive-behavioral counseling, solution-focused interventions, case management, deployment and reunion workshops, and psycho education to a wide range of clients, including active duty military members. Ms. Yancey has worked in many diverse settings over the course of her career including a private practice where she provided EAP services and military bases where she worked as a Military and Family Life Consultant.

In 2015, Ms. Yancey joined the Federal Occupational Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as a field consultant serving the Department of the Navy and the Federal Communications Commission.

Ms. Yancey received her undergraduate degree in Art Education from Central State University, and her Master of Guidance and Counseling degree from Bowling Green State University.
