Stacey Dodson is Goddard’s Pressure Systems Manager for the Greenbelt campus, she is charged with managing the Center’s PVS program, assuring Goddard’s pressure systems are safe, compliant, and maintained in accordance with NASA and National Voluntary Consensus Standards (VCS). Today, there are approximately 775 pressure systems on the GSFC Greenbelt Campus, as well as numerous temporary pressure systems necessary to support Goddard’s projects and missions.

Stacey has been serving as GSFC’s Pressure Systems Manager since 2020, bringing to Goddard more than 15 years of experience working as an operations engineer on hazardous fluid and gaseous pressure systems across various NASA programs.  She began her career supporting the ground processing of launch vehicles and spacecraft, such as supplying liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen to Space Shuttle Orbiter’s fuel cell power system.  She’s worked with hypergolic propellants as well as the various pneumatic systems used in spacecraft processing. She’s helped run ground test facilities as well as spacecraft processing facilities. Now her goal is to share her expertise with the owners and operators of Goddard’s pressure systems to ensure our facilities and test equipment can support our missions safely.
