David Gong is a Human Resources Specialist within the Office of Human Capital Management (OHCM), also known as HR. He started at Goddard as a Pathways intern in 2010 while attending a graduate program at University of Maryland University College. His bachelor’s degree is from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also a recent graduate of the NASA FIRST program.
Currently, he works in Employee Relations, which is an HR program that assists management in preventing and resolving issues within their workforce related to poor performance or misconduct. He is also a primary point of contact for the Center’s workplace and domestic violence prevention programs, as well as the coordination of the Threat Assessment Team, which deals with potential threatening situations or actual incidents involving our employees.
