Over 29 years of Law Enforcement and Security related experience with a background in investigations, special weapons and tactics for high- risk incidents, firearms instructing and law enforcement training instructor. Retired after 30 years of active and reserve military service with the United States Marine Corps., performing anti-terrorism and force protection operations in the U.S., Foreign Countries and Combat operations. Joined NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in 2010 as the Operations Manager of the Protective Services Uniform Security Services contract, responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Uniform Security Police Officers and GSFC Greenbelt security program. In February 2011, transitioned to the Federal Government/ Civil Service at GSFC as the Physical Security Team Lead for the Protective Services Division, Code 240, responsible for overseeing a team of investigators and physical security specialists. The team provides a professional and responsive security service that ensures the safety, security and well-being of all GFSC personnel, facilities, information and assets. In April 2011, assumed the current position as the Contacting Officer’s Representative (COR) for the Protective Services Uniform Security Services contract.
