Jeannette Plante is the Agency’s Quality Engineering Technical Fellow. Her responsibilities include developing quality engineering and assurance policy for the Agency. She advises the Chief of the Office of Safety and Mission Assurance on the formulation and execution of quality engineering and assurance policy, on special initiatives and programs related to QE and QA. She is the program executive for the Agency’s Workmanship Program, MetCal Program, the Nondestructive Evaluation Program, the Mechanical Systems Assurance Program, the Supply Chain Risk Management Program, and the Supplier Assessment System database. She hosts the Joint Audit Planning Committee, the annual NASA Quality Leadership Forum. Prior to her position at NASA Headquarters she was the Chief of the Quality and Reliability Division within GSFC’s Office of Safety and Mission Assurance, the delegated Program Manager for the Workmanship Standards Program and the lead for the GSFC Workmanship and ESD Control Programs.
