Eric M. Borrero

Eric M. Borrero is a Quality Engineer Contractor who has worked for ARES Technical Services since 2017.  He supports NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and their Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Program through ESD Bench certification, maintaining the training program, providing technical support for projects, and more.

Eric graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2013. While in school, he worked a few internships that included working at a machine shop and for a flexible battery cell company. After school, Eric was hired as a junior level engineer at a small reliability firm where he gained his first experience and insight into the quality world. He returned to school in 2016 and in 2018, graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a M.S. in Data Analytics. Eric completed and received an iNARTE certification in March 2018 and is internationally recognized as a certified Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Aerospace & Defense Engineer. He continues to support NASA GSFC and their projects by working with and providing input as one of the SMEs on campus.
